About CVWW

The Computer Vision Winter Workshop, established in 1996, brings together computer vision research groups from Prague, Ljubljana, Graz and Vienna. It exists so those groups can share work in progress, and so PhD students get the experience of presenting at a conference. Anyone working in the field is welcome to attend, whether or not they belong to one of the four groups.

The 30th edition takes place in Rust, on Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, from 8 to 10 February 2027. It is organized by the Computer Vision Lab at TU Wien.

Call for papers

As in previous years there are two tracks. The contributed papers track is for novel work: submissions are reviewed, and accepted papers appear in the workshop proceedings. The feedback track is not published, but authors receive comments from experienced researchers and may be invited to present on that basis.

Topics cover all aspects of computer vision and machine perception, including but not limited to:

Show all topics
  • Machine learning, deep learning, and optimization
  • Self-supervised, low-shot, transfer, and continual learning
  • Recognition, detection, and retrieval
